“Friends of Grace” is a performance with local musicians sharing their art in a potpourri program. The performance will feature organists Barb Polomsky, Shannon McKay and Ray McDonald; pianists Michael Clark and Kathleen VandeBerg; vocalists Kandie Smith, Stephanie Masterson, Kerry Fradley and Noah Peacock; Susan McGee on French horn; Joe Jamerson on trumpet and the Grace UMC Chancel Choir.

The 17th annual show exhibits touchable art for the blind, with braille, sculptures, assemblages, ceramics, fiber and other media, that are also visually appealing pieces of artwork. It’s the final weekend for the exhibit.

Jacksonville artist Kathy Stark offers an exploration of the extensive system of natural parks in North Florida with her traveling exhibit and book. She combines watercolor paintings with sketches, history and maps.

This production by Charles L Mee and directed by Michael Beaman explores the artwork of Robert Rauschenberg, one of America’s most acclaimed experimental artists, in this avant-garde theatrical exploration of love, laughter and the endurable human spirit.

Based on the iconic novel by George Orwell, “1984” is the story of Winston Smith, a cog in the giant machine state of Oceania. Winston has been caught struggling for scraps of love and freedom in a world awash with distrust and violence. With the brutal “help” of four Party Members, Winston is forced to confess his Thoughtcrimes before an unseen inquisitor, and the audience — which acts as a silent witness to his torture.

Re-enactors will dress as Spanish colonial women describing the life of a typical woman in St. Augustine at the fort’s colonial kitchen. They demonstrate how foods from Native American, African and Spanish cultures blended to create some of the best dishes available in 1740s colonial Spanish Florida.
