Legendary fish are unique fish in Red Dead Redemption 2. There’s one specimen of each kind that is the best and biggest, and you’ll need to catch them all for the A Fisher of Fish mission. You can begin this quest by talking to a stranger called Jeremy Gill. He’ll give you a relatively useful map and send you on your merry way. After that, you’ll have to get the special lures, find the fish, catch them and send them to him. Our Red Dead Redemption 2 legendary fish guide will show you how to do all those things.

Legendary Fish Locations Red Dead Redemption 2
Although we’re going to give you the locations of all the fish, keep in mind those spots will feature other, lesser fish as well. You probably won’t catch any of these on your first try, but don’t give up. Using the appropriate lures will help you weed out the less important fish and increase the chances of the bigger ones biting. Here’s a map with all their locations, numbered according to the list above:
How to send legendary fish in RDR2?
When you go to the post office to send the fish, the send mail option might be greyed out. In order to send Jeremy the fish, you first have to view his business card – the one he gives you at the start of the quest. Then, make sure the fish is in horse cargo – for some reason, it often doesn’t work if you bring it to the counter yourself. Also, having a high bounty might sometimes block you from using the post office, so either go to an area where you don’t have trouble with the law, or pay off your bounty.
Jeremy Gill Red Dead Redemption 2
If you haven’t still begun the ordeal, you’ll probably want to know how to start A Fisher of Fish mission. To do that, you’ll need to talk to Jeremy Gill, a stranger hanging out at a fishing shack on the shores of New Hanover, west of the border with Lemoyne. Simply talk to him and you’ll get the quest.
